Arts center keeps kids busy on vacation

Grace McQuade

From Feb. 21 through Feb. 24, the Gold Coast Arts Center will continue to bring fun and creative activities to children through the VacationArts program.

It’s the perfect choice for no school days.

VacationArts allows you to choose your own dates and schedule your Pre-K through seventh-graders for a fun, exciting, and active day.

Your children will experience sessions in art, music, ceramics, chess, and acting, taught by experienced teachers and artists.

Days off from school are filled with creative activities which will keep your child engaged and happy.

Construct a sculpture; learn a hip-hop routine; strategize chess moves with a grand master; make a unique edible art project; and more.

Activities vary daily.

Creative expression is considered one of the building blocks of early development, so why not keep your child engaged throughout this holiday season.

Gold Coast Arts Center’s VacationArts™ provides such a wide array of fun, engaging, and stimulating programs that anyone can learn new skills and exercise their imagination.

They can develop their talents and have fun and make friends, too.

Further VacationArts™ programs are as follows:

During spring recess: April 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A nut-free snack and lunch are included with tuition.

Kosher meals are available upon request.

Transportation is not provided.
