The music of the Beatles is coming to The Village of Great Neck Plaza with a performance by Liverpool Shuffle on Tuesday, July 25 at 8 p.m.

The concert will take place at Firefighters’ Park  on Grace Ave.

Formed in 2003, Liverpool Shuffle brings together veterans of the New York music scene, who combined, have 150 years of musical experience between them.

Feeling no reason to try and interpret the legendary music of the boys from the Merseyside in Northwest England, Liverpool Shuffle provides an exciting and authentic recreation of a live Beatles show, with an emphasis on faithfully performing the songs as John, Paul, George and Ringo did more than four decades ago.

Mayor Jean Celender said, “Whether you are young or old, the music of the Beatles resonates with those listening to their tracks, even influencing the music of today’s artists. This Tuesday, Liverpool Shuffle will help us relive that special decade that the Beatles transformed music, playing the hits that made the foursome one of music’s most storied acts.”

In the case of inclement weather, the concert performance will be moved to the Great Neck Social Center (80 Grace Avenue).

Check with village staff at Village Hall on the day of the concert or call 516-482-4500 our after 5 p.m.

There will be a recorded message if the day’s scheduled concert has been moved from Firefighters’ Park to the Social Center.

The Village website, www.greatneckplaza.net, will also have more details and any last-minute changes.
