Dance to movies adds Lesley Ann Warren

Live Nation announced the addition of Academy Award-nominated actress Lesley Ann Warren to the cast of “Dance to the Movies,” who will join Tony Dovolani and Anna Trebunskaya of “Dancing With The Stars” as the headline performers at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Thursday, April 27 at 8:00 p.m.

Actress Shirley Jones was planned to be in the show, but due to a scheduling conflict she had to drop out of this upcoming performance.

Jones and Warren have been rotating performances on the current tour of the production.

Warren is best known for receiving an Oscar nomination for the role of Norma in “Victor/Victoria,” starring with Julie Andrews, and as the star of TV’s classic musical “Cinderella.”

She was featured in such movies as “Clue,” “Life Stinks,” “The Limey” and Disney’s “The Happiest Millionaire.”

Her TV appearances include starring roles in “Will And Grace,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Mission Impossible” and “In Plain Sight.”

On Broadway, she starred in “Dream and 110 In The Shade.”

Finalists from “So You Think You Can Dance,” “America’s Got Talent,” and “American Idol” will also be included in the show that celebrates the best of Hollywood music and musicals.

“Dance to the Movies” recreates some of the most iconic characters and memorable musical moments from movies, such as “West Side Story,” “Grease,” “Chicago,” “Singin’ In the Rain” and “Moulin Rouge,” along with dances set to powerful scores from “Titanic,” “The Matrix,” “Willy Wonka,” and “Harry Potter.”
