The Village of Great Neck Plaza has announced that Nina Et Cetera, the East Patchogue-based folk duo, will be performing in Firefighters’ Park on Grace Ave. on Monday, July 3, as part of the Plaza’s 2017 Summer Concert Series.

Since Independence Day falls on a Tuesday this year, this week’s concert will be held on Monday at 8 p.m.

A veteran of the Village’s summer concert series, Nina Et Cetera has built up a large following of concert-goers due to their powerful and soulful renditions of the music of America’s music titans:  Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash and many more of music’s greatest voices.

“As we get ready to celebrate the 4th of July, there are no better musicians to help ring in the holiday than Nina Et Cetera,” stated Mayor Jean Celender. “Led by the formidable vocals of Nina Romano, Great Neckers will be treated to a festive evening celebrating music straight from the heartland.”

For more than two decades, Nina and Tim, the duo who make up Nina Et Cetera, have been playing music across the tri-state area.

When not on the road performing, Nina Et Cetera can be found writing and recording original music that combines the best of the old and new technology advances that the music world has seen.

From the Carter family, to Billie Holiday, to beat poets such as Ginsberg and Emerson, Nina Et Cetera uses a range of musical influences to create the sound that has been their trademark aura.

In addition to the summer concert series, Nina Et Cetera has also performed at numerous Plaza Promenade Nights.

In the case of inclement weather, the concert performance will be moved to the Great Neck Social Center at 80 Grace Ave.
