Easter Egg Hunts
Saturday, April 15, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. in Rockville Centre, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in Cold Spring Harbor
Children ages 1-10-years-old and their families are invited to join a free Easter Egg Hunt including prizes, bouncy houses, games, sing-a-longs, cotton candy and more on the Village Green in Rockville Centre. For those further out on Long Island, Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium will be hosting their own Spring Egg Hunt for kids up to 8-years-old, with a special tot garden for toddlers under 2.

Too Many Carrots and The Littlest Bunny in New York Story Times

Youngsters can hop on over to two springtime, Easter-themed story times—the first, “Too Many Carrots” by Katy Hudson, followed by “The Littlest Bunny in New York: An Easter Adventure” by Lily Jacobs.

Easter Bunny Breakfast and Eggsactly It!

Families can enjoy a kid-centric brunch filled with Easter treats and tabletops with crafts, chocolates and jelly beans at the Polo Steakhouse in the Garden City Hotel (reservations required) and then head over to the nearby Long Island Children’s Museum to decorate Easter eggs using the method of decoupage, the art of decorating with paper cut-outs. Fee: $3 with museum admission, $2 LICM members.
