Fishing Fun Clinic

Saturday, July 22, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Free Sport Fishing Events are family fishing clinics where adults and kids can fish for free; no freshwater fishing license or enrollment in the Recreational Marine Fishing Registry is required. In addition to fishing, participants can learn about fish identification, fishing equipment and techniques, local fisheries and aquatic ecology.

Freckleface Strawberry will do anything to get rid of her freckles — from scrubbing them with soap to caking on makeup.  Will she ever be brave enough to finally face her complexion in the mirror? With the help of her loveable schoolmates, including an amazingly talented ballerina, a cute jock, a charming ditz and a totally kooky teacher, Freckleface learns that everyone is different — and that’s what makes everyone special.

Kids Book Club Gathering

Saturday, July 22, 3-4 p.m.
Kids eight years old and up will be gathering to discuss any book that has a dog or a favorite animal in it and share it with the group. It can be fiction or nonfiction, and children are encouraged to bring a photo of their pet or an animal that they like.  It’s sure to be a fun time!

Summer Strings! Rockfest 2017 

Wednesday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Founded in 2014, the Summer Strings! RockFest gives kids and teens who study orchestral, stringed instruments the opportunity to play rock, blues, fiddling and improvisatory styles of music. Young musicians collaborate with a professional rock band to present a full-scale concert. This year’s guest artist is Roger Street Friedman, a singer-songwriter based in Sea Cliff, and his band.
