Rainbow Wind Socks

Friday, March 10 at 2:30 p.m.
 Breeze on by the inner lobby and welcome the colors of spring all month long as you create a rainbow wind sock with fun streamers to hang at home! This is a free drop-in program. Stop by anytime between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m. This craft takes approximately ten minutes to complete and it’s yours to keep. Ages 3 and up.

He’s cool and groovy and coming to Manhasset! Come and meet Pete the Cat at this special story time. The group will read favorite Pete the Cat stories, including I Love My White Shoes, and each child can take their picture with Pete so don’t forget to bring a camera.

Irish Pirates!

Young mateys ages 6-12 are invited to join in and learn about Irish pirates from the past who ruled the seas.  Kids can design their own Jolly Roger to hang at home.  The event is open to all ages, but space is limited to 30 children. Regular Admission + $5 craft fee. Members $5 per craft (no admission).

Purim in Hogwarts: The Chai Center Harry Potter Purim Party

Join The Chai Center to celebrate this joyful holiday that will have a Harry Potter theme – costumes encouraged!  There will be live entertainment from the award-winning illusionist and America’s Got Talent star Eric Wilzig, who combines an explosive mix of the most unconventional cutting-edge illusions and jaw dropping deception. An open bar and buffet dinner will follow a 4:30 p.m. Megilah reading. Family and children of all ages welcome. $15/child $20/adult (additional $5 per person after March 8).
