Long Island comedian, actor and writer Chris Roach is set to take part in The Paramount Comedy Series Presents — Kevin James on Thursday, April 6 and Sunday, April 9.
With the success of CBS Television’s sitcom, “Kevin Can Wait” (produced by CBS Studios in association with Sony Pictures Television), playing loveable friend Mott opposite James, he’ll bring his own brand of self-deprecating humor to Huntington opening in both shows.
Roach is a Ronkonkoma native who has also appeared in film and television, including Comedy Central, the Onion Sports Network, the “Michael J. Fox Show” and “Limitless,” and had a recurring role as Rodney, the lovable mental patient on ABC’s “One Life to Live.”
He regularly performs stand-up at some of the biggest and best-known stages in the tristate area, such as the Borgata in Atlantic City, Gotham Comedy Club in New York City, Governor’s Comedy Clubs on Long Island, and many more.
With recent interviews on United Stations Radio, SiriusXM with Jim Breuer, “The Anthony Cumia Show,” “The Laugh Button,” WTNH-TV’s “CT Style,” and ABC Tampa Bays “Morning Blend,” Roach has talked about everything from his love for hockey to the trials and tribulations of being 6’6.
He even chatted with Katie Couric and fellow Long Islander Billy Joel at the Piano Man’s recent Madison Square Garden performance.
Roach enjoys coaching youth hockey, as well as spending time with family and friends.
A big believer in giving back, he often spends time doing charity events and sharing his comedy.
As he brings his comedy back home to Long Island, fans won’t want to miss these special appearances.
