Sid Jacobson JCC partners for concert

Sid Jacobson JCC in partnership with Suffolk Y JCC of Commack, will host Face to Face: A Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John on Thursday, July 6 at 7 p.m.

The concert will take place at the Suffolk Y JCC located at 74 Hauppauge Road in Commack and benefit Sid Jacobson JCC’s adult day programs for those in their 30s, 40s, 50s and early 60s with young onset dementia.

More than five million people in the United States are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and five percent of those in their 30s, 40s and 50s have been diagnosed with young onset dementia.

Sid Jacobson JCC’s Let’s Do Lunch™ social adult day program provides physical, intellectual and social stimulation for those diagnosed with young onset dementia and frontotemporal degeneration Monday through Friday at the East Hills campus and Friday at the Suffolk Y JCC.

General admission tickets are $20, VIP tickets which include special seating, band t-shirt and a drink is $50.
