The Long Island Fringe Festival will be back in town on Sept. 17, hitting the main stage of the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.

The festival is assembling its eighth year by gathering the most talented performers for this celebration of the arts on Long Island with its presentation “UnLimited D8A.”

Comic Stevie GB will host the festivities, which will feature a mix of music, dance and comedy.

Also featured will be the “Guinness Book of World Records Fastest Talking Woman,” FrankTheBaldGuy from the melodic metal band “For the Kill” performing an unplugged set, poet, magician and musician Jay Jii, and dance groups from the North and South Shores.

The show will also include a tribute to the first poet Laureate from Nassau County, Maxwell Corydon Wheat, Jr.

The pre-show party will begin at 5 p.m. in the Atrium with performance poetry and visual artistry.

Individual tickets for the evening performances are $15, and can be purchased from the Tilles Center box office, by phone at (516) 299-3100, or at tillescenter.com.
