Town, Indian docs to offer wellness events

The Town of North Hempstead is partnering with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin of Queens and Long Island Inc. to provide free wellness events to residents, which will take place at Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson.  These events will run from July 9 to Sept. 17.

The seminars will feature professionals from AAPIQLI discussing wellness topics, as well as offering hands-on programs including yoga, meditation and cultural sensitivity.

– Sunday, July 9 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: “Yoga under the Stars,” featuring mediation.

– Sunday, Aug. 6 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: “Cultural Sensitivity”  and “Emotional IQ”

– Sunday, Sept. 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: “Yoga under the Stars,” featuring mediation.
