Acclaimed pianist to play in Freeport Dec. 10

The Freeport Community Concert Association is presenting Jeffrey Biegel on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m.
Following comments from Leonard Bernstein, praising Biegel as a “brilliant performer,” they launched Biegel’s 1986 New York debut in Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, according to a press release from Freeport Community Concert Association.
Biegel studied at The Juilliard School and is currently on faculty at the Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College. 
He will be performing selections from Bach, Mozart and Liszt. 
After intermission, he will be joined by three other musicians to perform “Bolling’s Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano.”
Individual tickets may be purchased at the door for $20 on the evening of the performance which is performed at Freeport High School, 50 South Brookside Avenue in Freeport, just south of Sunrise Highway. 
$5 for children under 18.
