Two people who police said stole Louis Vuitton merchandise in Manhasset and East Garden City in January and March were arrested on Friday, police said.
Nestor Zambrano, 38, and Melissa Sanchez, 28, both of Queens, stole $6,000 worth of merchandise from the Louis Vuitton store on Northern Boulevard in Manhasset on Jan. 15, police said.
On March 30, the two stole $2,500 in merchandise from the Louis Vuitton store in Macy’s in East Garden City, Nassau County police said.
Sanchez had her 6-month-old baby with her during the March 30 robbery.
Zambrano and Sanchez were charged with third- and fourth-degree grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Sanchez was also charged with possession of a forged instrument.
Both pleaded not guilty in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday.
They did not post the $1,500 bond or $750 cash they were being held on.
