Missing Mineola man found, police say

A Mineola man was found Thursday night after he had gone missing more than two days before, Nassau County police said.

Brad Paro, 44, was located as of 9:48 p.m. Thursday, police said in a news release

A police spokeswoman could not confirm the details of where Paro was found. But police told Newsday he was found walking in the woods in Coram.

Paro had last been seen at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mineola, police said early Thursday morning.

Newsday reported that he had dropped off his wife at the Mineola Long Island Rail Road station Tuesday afternoon but had not been seen since.

His 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan was found in Coram on Wednesday night with its engine running, police told Newsday.

A Nassau police spokeswoman said Thursday afternoon said she could not confirm the details given to Newsday.
