Cedar Creek movie nights returns

The Island Now

Movie Nights at Cedar Creek Park will be returning this summer.

Beginning at dusk, films will be shown for free every Tuesday through Aug. 20.

“We have had such great feedback and attendance at our annual Summer Movie Nights in Eisenhower Park, that we have expanded our outdoor movie series to Cedar Creek Park as well,” said Nassau County Executive Mangano. “It’s a fun event for the whole family to attend.”

The Cedar Creek Park Summer Movie Night schedule is as follows:

Aug. 13: Ghostbusters – sunset 7:56 p.m.

Aug. 20: Back to the Future – sunset 7:46 p.m.

Cedar Creek Park is located on Merrick Road in Seaford, east of Wantagh Avenue. There is no formal seating at Cedar Creek Park, so movie-goers should bring folding chairs or blankets. If weather conditions are doubtful, please call: (516) 572-0355 after 7:00 p.m.
