Comedy based on Bette Davis visit

The Island Now

What if Baby Jane came for dinner and stayed … and stayed and stayed!

Based on Elizabeth Fuller’s true-life account of the legendary Bette Davis’s one night visit that lasted a month, Theatre Three’s “Me And Jezebel” is a look at the explosive, intimidating and demanding Davis.

Follow the outrageous icon as she participates in a séance, goes berry picking, signs autographs at McDonald’s and remains every inch the superstar while riding shotgun in a beat up Toyota.

A sparkling, hilarious evening with the diva who came to dine!

The production, which contains adult themes and language, features Marci Bing —last seen in her award-winning performance as Maria Callas in Master Class — and Elizabeth Ann Castrogiovanni as Elizabeth Fuller.  The production is directed by Theatre Three veteran Bradlee E. Bing.

Me & Jezebel will be performed Jan. 9 through Feb. 6 at Theatre Three Productions, Inc. 412 Main Street in Port Jefferson. Call 631-928-9100 or visit www.theatrethree.com for further information.
