The Roslyn-based Rouse Social Inc. announced Thursday a new mobile music app that aggregates artists’ social media feeds into one source, according to a press release.

The app, known as Rouse! 1.1.3, will be available for iPhone and Android phones in addition to Web use, and organizes posts from Twitter, Twitpic, Instagram pictures and videos, YouTube, iTunes, Spotify and SonKick for music fans to keep track of their favorite acts.

“With so many different popular social networks, it’s become increasingly difficult for fans to find and follow their favorite artists,” said Rouse Chief Executive Officer Daniel Smith in a statement. “By aggregating content from multiple networks into one seamless feed and user-friendly interface, fans can now experience the world of music like never before.”

The app’s users will be able to access artist biographies, news and tour dates as well as the ability to purchase concert tickets through the Artist and Band Page feature, and can even stream full songs and purchase music.

The app also features a self-promotion feature called “Get Discovered,” in which up-and-coming artists can submit their music, videos and social feeds to Rouse for the creation of their own band page.

“Rouse is a tremendous tool that will provide fans an opportunity to engage with their favorite artists on multiple social media platforms while just using the Ruse app,” said Justin Shukat, president of the music publishing, licensing and marketing company Primary Wave Music in a statement. “Social media has changed the entertainment landscape, music fans demand more of everything faster and easier and artists are always looking to deepen their relationships and expand their fan base. Rouse delivers big on both fronts.”

According to the release, the app is available for purchase in the iTunes App Store in the “Social Networking” category.
