I would like to take this opportunity to extend my congratulations to Great Neck Park Commissioner-elect Dan Nachmanoff, and to thank those in the community who came out to vote.
As I heard one of the Great Neck South high school students who worked with me on my campaign say, local government really has the greatest impact on our everyday lives.
Over these many, many months in which I engaged the community, I had the privilege of meeting and interacting with hundreds and hundreds of our residents who I hope will continue to be engaged and participate.
I know that I will continue to be involved, as I have been for more than 20 years, in helping to insure that our parks and our programs are the best they can be.
Thanks again to the community for this privilege of seeking political office, and especially to those who worked so hard on my behalf and who came out to vote.
