A Great Neck man was arrested on charges of menacing in the second degree and possession of a dangerous weapon, according to a report from the Nassau County Police Department
Mario Murillo, 33, allegedly threatened a 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman in his home on Sunday.
The victims had an argument with Murillo, according to police, and Murillo allegedly confronted them with a handgun when they tried to leave the house.
After the two people left the scene, 3rd Squad officers, detectives and a special operations and emergency services unit responded to Murillo’s home.
Police report Murillo exited the house peacefully and was taken into custody. Officers found a fake plastic gun inside the home.
Murillo was arraigned at 1st District Court in Hempstead on Sunday.
