The Great Neck Public Schools community is invited to attend the Lakeville School Auditorium Dedication on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m.
The Lakeville Auditorium will be named in honor of Barbara A. Raber, former Lakeville School principal (1984–2010) and assistant principal (1983–84). Under Raber’s leadership, Lakeville was recognized as a 2009 Blue Ribbon award recipient by the US Department of Education. Raber was a teacher at Saddle Rock School before coming to Lakeville, but she considered Lakeville her “home school.” She lives in the community and her children are Lakeville graduates.
