It was shortly after the election that I noticed a comment made by an individual who lives in one of the self-segregated bible belt states referring to the 51 percent who re-elected our president as the masses. This lends credence to ignorance being the cause of those not seeing that the 51 percent are millions of individual intelligent human beings.
The 51 percent knew well that they were up against all those with a tendency to bigotry, hatred and racism when rabble-roused by the Republicans driven by the same forces plus their selfish special interests.
To say the least, the Republicans are now mad! Mad, mad, mad! In effect, they are bent on overthrowing the government elected by the majority. Count on they being willing to stoop as they did by the attempt at voter suppression to thwart the will of the people.
I did not hear it myself but a prominent individual who should know better is said to have exposed himself in a very vulgar fashion with his ranting. This is only a part of what is going around these days.
I assume everyone knows the definition of libel. Well, to iterate, it is not only printing false statements about but also the attempt to injure, damage or defame the reputation of a person by that and anything of like nature.
Take Solyndra as an example. This and the energy stimulus money was initiated by the Bush Administration. The pigs were at the trough to get this money as usual.
President Obama had concerns about Solyndra but it was somewhat out of his hands and in those of other agencies. Solyndra did create an innovative and useful product and was making money.
Then, the Chinese Government subsidized China’s solar panel industry which dumped low priced products on the market. Solyndra went out of business and in the process it appears that some freeloaded on what was left of it.
The U.S. did receive part of the loan returned. The situation was and is still tied up in the courts and the president could and can not influence the outcome. The lies of libel were and are still around.
It seems that there must be a city, town or village on Long Island named Esquire though I don’t know where it is. I know that the word is sometimes given to a man as a title in England. Anyway, this resident of Esquire in a sentence used the phrase “The United States and Israel.” Suffice it to say,
The U.S. and Israel not a country. I believe the nominal 179 other peoples on our planet might agree. For a little history, all the peoples have arrived to today..
In the past many were widely isolated and unknown to others. They all had their own ideologies and way of life. It is written that much of everyone’s future was formed in part by what transpired way back in Atlantis, be it for good or otherwise.
During World War II, the U.S. and others made a tremendous effort and much blood was shed for all who were liberated. Those who were aided should be forever grateful. There are many nations on this planet including those who are natives of the U.S.
In my World Atlas by a reputable publisher is a map of the nations according to Genesis. Among those nations is Palestine which has existed throughout the ages. After World War II with some surely opposed, The United Nations allowed for the creation of a state within the nation of Palestine. All those inhabiting said state should be thankful most of all.
Unfortunately, for them it was not enough: They wanted it all and to heck with the Palestinians who do not need a state as they are a nation.
President Obama was given The Nobel Peace Prize in advance. Everyone everywhere should give their support for the achievement of a peaceful planet through diplomacy and other positive measures.
