I am writing this letter is support of Jim Gounaris for his candidacy in the upcoming board of education election in Herricks.
I have known Jim for several years now and have come to know him as someone who cares deeply for his community. He is dedicated and committed to the betterment of the children of our community. He is always willing to help others in need. He is a successful businessperson with a zeal for better education. He is tireless in his pursuit of success and his accomplishments speak for themselves.
Whether they are in business or academics he is a candidate who will be able to address our concerns and will be able resolve any issues that may arise. He is a consummate professional who is always ready to volunteer or help. He has worked as a coach for the NHP Wildcats Soccer Club and volunteered as a chaperone for school trips. He is successful in any endeavor he partakes in. As a parent with kids of his own in the district, he understands and can empathize with everyone. With his knowledge, experience and expertise we can be sure he will have the best interest of our kids at heart.
Being a parent with kids in the district and an educator for 12 years, I am acutely aware of how vital it is for us to elect people that will lead responsibly and will do what it takes for our kids to succeed and have the best educational experience.
