Lake Success-based Hain Celestial Inc. announced Monday the company recorded its highest quarter of sales in the company’s 15-year existence.

For the second quarter of the 2016 fiscal year, which includes the months of October, November and December, the company recorded net sales of just under $753 million, about $57 million more than the same quarter in the 2015 fiscal year.

“This has been our largest quarter of sales and profit in the history of Hain Celestial,” Hain Celestial Founder Irwin D. Simon said in a phone conference Monday. “We are uniquely positioned to satisfy the health and wellness needs of consumers with our leading natural and organic products as we work to deliver increased shareholder value.”

Hain Celestial splits sales data into four segments based on geographic location or type of product sold: the United States branch, United Kingdom branch, Hain Pure Protein Corporation and the “Rest of World” branch, which is comprised of sales made in Canada and Europe.

The United States branch recorded net sales of just over $342 million, the United Kingdom branch recorded net sales of about $194 million, Hain Pure Protein recorded net sales of almost $142 million and the “Rest of World” branch recorded net sales of over $74 million.

Simon said Hain Celestial’s successes can be attributed to the “global diversified business model” the company uses to attract consumers across the world.

He also said the company was partnering with the Boston Consulting Group to look for ways to improve Hain Celestial from a $5 billion company to a $7 billion one.

The project is called “Project Terra,” Simon said, and aims to identify production and supply efficiency and the best trade investments possible.

Headquartered at 1111 Marcus Ave., Hain Celestial is the provider of popular brands such as Almond Dream, Terra, and Celestial Seasonings.
