The Long Island Tigers 10U White Team won the NJBL 2013 Summer Divisional League championship, defeating the Syosset Braves 1-0 and 15-3 in the championship playoff series held Saturday at Syosset Community Park. Matthew Feingold of Roslyn was the starting and winning pitcher in the first game and fired five shutout innings in the pitcher’s duel. The Tigers team finished the NJBL summer season with a league-leading record of 16-2.
