A Queens man who allegedly kidnapped his girlfriend was arrested April 5 after calling his victim from a Jiffy Lube in Mineola, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Police said that at approximately 1:30 a.m., Patrice D. Donely Jr. drove to the Hempstead Bus Terminal and forced his 27-year-old ex-girlfriend, who was standing across the street, into his car at gunpoint.

He then drove to his house at 110-72 199th Street in Hollis, Queens, dragged her out of the car and into the garage, and threatened to kill himself and her if they didn’t get back together, police said.

After an undisclosed amount of time, police said, the victim agreed to get back with Donely, and he drove her home without any further incident.

At 1:54 p.m., Donely called her from Jiffy Lube at 232 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola, where 3rd Squad detectives responded and arrested him.

Police said the victim had a Stay Away Order of Protection against Donely.

Donely was charged with second-degree kidnapping, first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree menacing, and was arraigned April 6 at 1st District Court in Hempstead, police said.
