A man wearing blue hospital scrubs and an Afro wig robbed a TD Bank branch in North New Hyde Park late Tuesday morning, Nassau County Police report.
According to detectives, the entered the TD Bank located at 110 Hillside Avenue at 11:55 am and presented a demand note to a teller. The teller gave the robber an undetermined amount of cash and he fled the scene on foot, moving eastbound on Hillside Avenue.
Police describe the man as being in his mid 20s, 6 feet tall, with a thin build, wearing the hospital scrubs and the wig.
