A man robbed a Chase bank in Mineola late last Thursday morning, Nassau County Police report.
Detectives said the man walked into the Chase bank at 175 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola on Aug. 7 at 10:52 a.m. and gave a teller a note demanding cash. The teller then gave him cash and the suspect fled the scene.
Detectives described the man as a black male, 30 years old, 5-feet 7-inches or 8-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a thin build and a dark complexion.
They said he was wearing a dark bucket hat, dark sunglasses and a long-sleeved button down shirt with diagonal stripes.
