Police arrested an 18-year-old Mill Neck man who Nassau County detectives said committed a string of car break-ins early Tuesday morning in Great Neck.

Yannick Reboh was arrested at 11:29 a.m. Tuesday on charges of robbery, burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief and petty larceny.

Reboh allegedly stole a credit card from a Mercedes Benz on Ascot Ridge, took a GPS unit from an Audi on the same street and entered a BMW on Amherst Road without removing any property in a series of pre-dawn break-ins, police said.

Reboh was reportedly confronted after entering a Chrysler minivan on Amherst road at 5:20 a.m. Reboh allegedly took loose change and a Red Bull energy drink from the car, before entering the victim’s garage and taking two bottles of alcohol. The victim reportedly physically confronted Reboh and took a gym bag carried by Reboh in the ensuing struggle, before the defendant fled on foot.

Police said Reboh returned to the garage and unsuccessfully tried to retrieve the gym bag, which allegdly contained stolen goods from that morning’s break ins.

Great Neck Estates police officers arrested Reboh without incident on Amherst Road.

His arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday at 1st District Court in Hempstead.
