A 24-year old man was killed Saturday when he lost control of the car he was driving eastbound on the South Service Road of Route 495 approaching Post Road and struck a tree, Nassau County police said.
German Enrique Molina, 24, of Mineola was driving a 2004 Nissan Maxima at 7:16 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a curb on Store Hill Road, police said.
The vehicle, police said, travelled approximately 40 feet and collided into a tree. Molina was pronounced dead at Nassau University Medical Center at 7:59 p.m., police said.
