The meeting has been pushed back one week from its typical start time, to the third Wednesday of the month, as trustees continue to prepare the budget, officials said.

Trustees meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of the month beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Village Clerk Barbara Miller said Monday she has submitted her annual budgetary recommendations to the board.

She said that the village could implement a spending increase of $24,218 while staying within a 2 percent tax increase from 2014-15.

The village operated with a $1.93 million budget in 2014-15.

Trustees in January approved a local law granting the board the ability to override the state tax cap if deemed necessary.
