The Nassau County Council of School Superintendents recently conducted a Book Drive for literacy purposes of charitable groups in our area that help homeless, impoverished or struggling students. This year our team of superintendents collected over 800 books that were donated to Big Brothers and Big Sisters. “The Network Committee of our organization has combined social and altruistic programs for the superintendents this year as a means of bringing us closer together as a professional organization. We are very pleased with our efforts of collecting over 50 cases of books,” said Robert Katulak, chairperson of the Nassau Superintendent network group.
