Local elected officials and the PATV board of directors came to the PATV studio for a special ribbon cutting of the new state-of-the-art studio at 1111 Marcus Avenue Suite LL27 in Lake Success on Thursday, April 18.
The new studio features HD cameras, Skype, green screen and the new Tricaster and virtual sets.
Mayors and elected officials from the 15 incorporated villages were present as well as our North Hempstead council members including a representative for state Comptroller Tom Di Napoli.
PATV executive director Shirley Ann Bruno welcomed everyone with an informative video on what PATV is offering to the community through local programming and a video featuring the year in review.
The station’s are on PATV Channel 20 (Cablevision) and Channel 37 (FIOS).
This year PATV was nominated for an Emmy and also won for the Best Overall Public Access station by the Alliance for Community Media.
