Police are seeking a man who they say robbed a Mineola Subway Sunday evening.

The suspect, described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, allegedly entered the Subway sandwich shop at 106 Old Country Road at 7:28 p.m. and gave the cashier a note demanding money.

Police said he threatened the employee with a gun, but never showed the weapon, and the cashier handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber, who wore gray pants, a black parka with a fur rimmed hood, beige gloves and sneakers, then fled the store in an unknown direction, police said.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Anyone with information about the robbery can leave an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-244-8477.
