North Hempstead’s Summer Concert Series came to a close with a final performance by Persian pop star Pouya at North Hempstead Beach Park on Aug. 24. The free concert was held in partnership with the Great Neck Park District. Famous for his 2000 “Safar” Journey song, Pouya put on quite a show for the thousands of spectators in attendance.
