Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano honored the members of the Red Hat Society during a ceremony on Aug. 9 at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre at Eisenhower Park. Mangano was joined by Judge Joy Watson in honoring the members, who are from all parts of Long Island and Queens.
The Red Hat Society is an international organization that connects, supports and encourages women in their pursuit of fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment, and fitness. The Red Hat Society has become the international society dedicated to reshaping the way women are viewed in today’s culture.
