Reiter right choice for GN control district

The Island Now

I have personally known Steve more than 15 years and I am writing to urge the residents of the Great Neck Water Pollution Control District to join me in supporting Steve Reiter for Commissioner on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

We need strong leaders in local government to ensure that residents have the best quality service at the lowest possible cost.

A 30-year resident of Great Neck, Steve is uniquely qualified to be a district commissioner as demonstrated by his accomplishments as both a businessman and civic leader.  Steve has served as Vice President of Temple Emanuel of Great Neck, a member of the Architectural Review Committee for the Village of Great Neck and has served as chairman of Sewage Treatment Plant Committee for the Rough Riders Landing Condominium in Montauk.

I am supporting Steve Reiter because he will fight for our community by insisting on transparency and accountability in the district.

Please join me in voting for Steve on Tuesday Dec. 11.

 Dan Levy, MD

Mayor, Village of Saddle Rock
