In reviewing the candidates for the fire commissioner election to take place on Dec. 13, I have to inform the residents of NHP to re-elect Rick Stein. He and the board, for the past four years have reduced the fire budget while improving response time, training, equipment, and firefighters & ems safety. They submitted for and received county, state, and federal grants for fire equipment, fire house improvements and special training for our members.
Rick Stein has demonstrated his leadership skills in his past positions as a Boy Scout, former auxiliary police chief, member of BPO Elks, board member of the Fire Museum, and as FDNY deputy chief inspector.
He continues to be the perfect candidate and currently serves as assistant to the Honorable Judge DeVane, as a volunteer firefighter, and your village Santa!
Rick Stein is responsible, honest, ethical, and the best candidate for the job!
This is why Rick Stein should be re-elected as Fire Commissioner in New Hyde Park!
