Sandusky verdict a call to action against abuse

The Island Now

Former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky has just been found guilty of sexually abusing children.

For these egregious and nefarious acts aganist children he will face the rest of his life in prison. Sandusky was a predatory pedophile who should have been arrested years ago before more innocent children were violated. Justice has been late but none the less served.

As it says in the Bible, Luke 117: 2 “It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these children to sin.”

Now as for those who may have known of these acts of perversion and said nothing remember this too, ”Evil thrives when good people do nothing.” And that is what happened.

Child abuse has become epidemic across the nation and from people in many walks of life. These people must be discovered and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. These children are being scarred for life and do not deserve to be treated like this,  and especially in some cases by people they trust. Child abuse must stop  now. If you see something, please say something, for innocent little lives are at stake.
