The annual Senior “Halloween Monster Bash” is back for 2013. The event, sponsored by the Department of Community Services and the Department of Services for the Aging, attracts hundreds of seniors and features music, games, food and a costume contest.
Due to the success of the event in the past few years, an additional day of festivities has been added.
Residents will be able to select from two different dates:
Friday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park.
Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Hempstead “Yes We Can” Community Center.
Seating is limited and residents must call 311 of (516) 869-6311 ahead to reserve a seat.
