The Something Special Big Band, featuring Phil Costa, will be performing Tuesday, July 23 at Firefighters’ Park. Always one of the most popular shows of the Plaza’s annual summer concert series, Phil Costa and his Something Special Big Band will be returning to Firefighters’ Park with a playlist intended to delight concert-goers.

Many members of the 16-piece orchestra and vocalists have performed with greats like Benny Goodman, Harry James, Lionel Hampton, Count Basie and Woody Herman. To date, the band has produced six music records, earning praise from numerous critics along the way.
