Nassau County Executive candidate Tom Suozzi attended the opening of the Westbury Campaign office at 817 Prospect Ave on Saturday, Oct. 12.
This is the first time a Democratic headquarters has ever been opened in the Westbury/New Cassel area. To celebrate, community volunteers helped throw a party, and Suozzi danced along to a DJ.
In addition to Suozzi, his running mates county Comptroller candidate Howard Weitzman, county Clerk candidate Laura Gillen and District Attorney Kathleen Rice were in attendance. North Hempstead Town Supervisor candidate Judi Bosworth, town Clerk candidate Wayne Wink, Legislator Robert Troiano, and town Councilwoman Viviana Russell also attended the opening.
