Nassau County Executive candidate Tom Suozzi competed in the 26th annual Runner’s Edge TOBAY Triathlon on Saturday, Aug. 24. He was a member of the “Tri-Dems” team, along with District Attorney Kathleen Rice and Legislative District 18 Candidate Dave Gugerty.
Suozzi took on the 15 kilometer (nine mile) bike portion, while Gugerty took on the swimming and Rice took on the running portion of the course.
The team took a total of one hour 26 minutes and 33 seconds to finish the race, landing them in seventh place for the co-ed relay (out of 19 teams) and 23rd overall.
