Children in grades 2 though 6 will compete in “Our Rising Stars Talent Show” in the William Gill Theatre on the second floor of New Hyde Park Village Hall this weekend. The young talents will strut their stuff on the Gill Theatre stage on Saturday, Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. Children’s theater director Marilyn McClean is the coordinator for the event.
On Aug. 14, a Plaza Theatrical Production of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” will be held in New Hyde Park Memorial Park at 7 p.m.
