Directed by Joachim Trier, “Louder Than Bombs” tells the tale of an aging schoolteacher (Gabriel Byrne) grappling with the recent death of his photojournalist wife (Isabelle Huppert) and his attempts to reconcile with his two very different sons: a shy, reclusive high-schooler (Devin Druid) and his academic older son (Jesse Eisenberg). Trier delivers an intelligent, emotional and original tale about the disruption that hides behinds an idyllic suburban landscape.

Gilbert Gottfried is one of the most sought-after comedians, and regularly performs live to sold-out audiences across North America. His first-ever book, “Rubber Balls and Liquor,” was recently released, as was “Gilbert Gottfried Dirty Jokes” featuring 50 non-stop minutes of Gottfried telling some of his funniest and filthiest jokes.

3) Teatro Regio Di Parma’s I Due Foscari

Saturday, March 26, 2 p.m.

I due Foscari was Verdi’s sixth opera and is based on Lord Byron’s play “The Two Foscari.” Rich in intrigue, the plot tells of the final days of the famous Venetian doge, Francesco Foscari, and his illegal overthrow in 1457. The opera was first performed at the Teatro Argentina in Rome in November 1844.

4) Carly Rae Jepsen

Saturday, March 26, 8 p.m.

Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum-selling artist Carly Rae Jepsen burst onto the world stage from her home in Canada’s British Columbia with her 2012 breakout hit “Call Me Maybe,” she returned last year with her latest release “E·MO·TION,” featuring the Billboard Top 40 hit single “I Really Like You.”

5) Mary Ann Petry – Selected Works

March 10 – April 25

As part of Molloy’s 60th anniversary celebration The Frank and Gertrude Kaiser Art Gallery at Molloy College presents an exhibition on the work of Mary Ann Petry, former art faculty chairperson. Petry was a member of the Molloy Art faculty from 1962 – 1973, and an Amityville Dominican from 1942-1974. She was a mentor to many students at Molloy – organizing art exhibits and encouraging students to enter art related professions.

6) The Offshore Regulars

Thursday, March 31, 8 p.m.

Formed by four high school friends, The Offshore Regulars are a Long Island-based reggae-rock-funk band with a love for the beach and partying. They have been fortunate enough to play alongside national touring acts such as Badfish, the Supervillains, Ballyhoo!, Collie Buddz, and The Pietasters. They released a full-length album, “The New Guy” in 2013, and followed that up with an EP, “Fueled Up” in 2014. They released their latest EP, “Heathens” in June of 2015.

7) Mike Yard

Friday, March 25, 8 p.m. & Saturday, March 26, 7 & 9:30 p.m.

Born on the island of St. Croix, Michael Yard gave up his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player after coming to New York in 1986, instead turning his attention to comedy. He has since become one of the hottest comedians touring the country today. He was named one of comedy’s most thought provoking comedians by The Black Comedy Awards and has performed twice for The Rainbow Coalition/ Operation PUSH national conventions.
