Trinity Episcopal Church to hold concert

The Island Now

Please join us on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 7 pm for a lovely sunset concert celebrating recent graduates and active members of Trinity Episcopal Church, Roslyn.  Anna Cammisa (Gettysburg College 2013) will play the flute, vocals will be performed by Laura deBruin (Schreiber High School) and accompaniment will be provided by Martha Regelmann (Westminster Choir College 1973).

The concert repertoire will feature Peter Schickele’s exuberant “Spring Serenade” for Flute and Piano, vocal works by Pergolesi-Rorem-Debussy, and “Anyway” by Martina McBride.

Come share exciting music and the extraordinary illumination of breathtaking Tiffany windows at sunset in the 1906 Historic Landmark church designed by Stanford White.  Free-will donations accepted.  There will be a ‘meet-and-greet the artists’ & light refreshments following the concert.  All welcome!

Trinity Church is located at 1579 Northern Blvd. in Roslyn, just east of the Roslyn Viaduct (516-621-7925).  For more info on the concert, contact Martha.Regelmann@gmail.com.
