Twins injured in GN hit-and-run

Nassau County police are investigating a hit-and-run last Thursday in which two 54-year-old twin sisters were struck crossing Arrandale Road in Great Neck.

Police said the sisters were walking on the north side of street when they were struck.

The driver failed to stop after the accident, and the victims were taken to a local hospital, according to police. 

As of Thursday, one victim was listed in critical condition with internal injuries and the other had less serious  wounds.

Police are requesting that anyone with information that could help identify the vehicle contact the department’s anonymous tippling at 1-800-244-TIPS.
