Two people were sent to the hospital after a Nassau County bus driver pulled them from a burning car that had crashed into another car on Thursday on Searingtown Road.

The Roslyn Highlands Fire Company responded to the crash at 6 a.m. on Searingtown Road and Northern Boulevard and extinguished the fire, according to Brian Waterson, assistant chief of the Port Washington Fire Department, who did not respond but drove by after it occurred.

The Roslyn Fire Company did not respond to multiple requests to comment.

The car that caught fire was a silver sedan, and it collided with a navy blue pickup truck.
