The Village of Williston Park will host its inaugural Family Fun Run/Walk on Nov. 29 in memory of late Williston Park resident Molly Murphy.
The event will take place at Kelleher Field, with a Kids Fun Run starting at 8:30 a.m. The race will begin at 9 a.m.
The race will begin on Stratford Avenue and continue to Brown Street before crossing over Willis Avenue to Capitol Avenue, and then back across Willis Avenue again and finishing at Kelleher Field.
Runners will be placed into one of eight age groups based, starting with 7 to 9-year-olds in the youngest group and 60-and-over in the oldest group.
The best times in each group with be given awards. Prizes will be given to all participants in the Kids Fun Run.
Registration is $15 and runs through Nov. 15. Late registration will cost $20 and runs until the morning of the event.
Williston Park residents and visiting relatives are eligible to register.
