On Friday, Oct. 11, the Williston Park Recreation Committee hosted their “First Annual Golf Outing” at Clearview Golf Course in Queens, New York.
We had over 90 golfers participate in the scramble format, and over 125 people attend the dinner party afterwards.
Although the weather forecast for the day was not a promising one, the rain held out for the most part and the festivities went on as planned. We held several contests on the golf course such as longest drive, closest to the pin and team low gross score.
We also held several raffles and our grand raffle at the dinner, which was a weekend stay at The Dream Hotel Downtown in New York City, which was won by Williston Park Resident Andrew Innarelli.
