Debbie Goldman of Williston Park was honored for her work in the German American community by Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos.
The citation was presented at the German International Music Night which is part of the County Parks International Music Nights Concert Series.
The International Music Nights Concert Series provides residents an opportunity to experience the broad range of cultures that Nassau County has to offer.
Also on hand to commemorate the occasion was Heinz Buck, president of the German American Cultural Council.
“The International Music Nights Concert Series is a great Nassau County tradition with twenty nights dedicated to music and culture that honor a range of ethnic groups,” said Mangano.
